Feldberg discussed: This is how tourism income should increase!

In the Feldberg municipal council, there was an intensive discussion about the submission to Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH (HTG). The Council sat together for two hours to talk about the annual payment of 803,000 euros that Feldberg transfers to the HTG. These financial resources are used together with the contributions of nine other special purpose association to cover the expenses of the HTG. The HTG has the task of managing tourist concerns that were necessary before the company was founded.

A central point in the debate was that Feldberg also exudes touristically on other municipalities and can thus benefit from a collective effort in tourism. This argument makes it clear that it is time to leave the "community center" and instead to create overarching synergies. The discussion aims to increase the tourist attractiveness of the region.
