Large final concert of the Bochum Music School: Sounds of Passion!

On Sunday, June 1st, the final concert of the Bochum music school takes place in the Anneliese Brost Musikforum Ruhr. The concert begins at 6 p.m. Former members of the Youth Symphony Orchestra and other music enthusiasts have come together to form a large symphony orchestra. Bochum Tourismus reports that the admission prices for the concert are at 18 and 15 euros.

Samples take place regularly on Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the main house of the music school in Maschstrasse 22-24.

The orchestra is managed by Marcus Sundermeyer and supported by a team of instrumental teachers. The line -up changes annually because many members leave the music school after graduating from high school. reports of the participation of the orchestra in the German Youth Orchestra Prize of the "Jeunesses Musicales" in 2015, where it was nominated for its concept on the occasion of the 2015 Music Expo and won the second prize in the final.
