In the youth center Herscheid: kite fight and medieval festival for kids!
Herscheid, Deutschland - On July 16, 2025, the holiday fun started in the Herscheid youth center under the motto "Fairy tale, myths, Middle Ages". 37 young participants took part in this exciting event, which was opened with an imaginative play. The employees and supervisors of the youth center brought the history of warrior princess Kristin to the stage, who wants to free a prince from the clutches of a kite. Experted by bagpipes and drum accompaniment through an archer, the allusion became an interactive experience. The children were asked to support their favorites with "strong hand -flaps".
At the end of the story there was a surprising turn: the dragons and the princess agreed. This led to a large castle festival, in which other fairytale characters entered the stage. The children had the opportunity to dance, jump and become musically active. Various game and handicrafts and excursions were also planned in the next two weeks. Despite the fact that the holiday fun with 37 participants was not fully booked, there was a positive mood in the youth center.
