On June 12, 2025, the cruise ship “Carnival Miracle” docked in the port of Warnemünde for the first time. The impressive ship, which belongs to the Carnival Cruise Line, is 293 meters long and was put into service in 2004. It arrived in Rostock from Copenhagen early in the morning at 7.30 a.m. and continued its journey towards Tallinn late in the evening.
With a capacity of 2,680 passengers and around 910 crew members, the “Carnival Miracle” offers numerous amenities for travelers on a total of twelve passenger decks. The ship's first call is one of a number of premieres being celebrated in Warnemünde this season, including the "Viking Vela" and "Sea Dream".
Further attempts and season highlights
The “Carnival Miracle” will stop in Warnemünde twice more this season, on July 16th and 24th. These visits are part of a total of 165 cruise calls that are expected in the Baltic Sea resort in 2025.
The first attempt of the “Carnival Miracle” is just one of seven this season. Other high-profile cruise ships expected in Warnemünde are the “Viking Saturn” on July 8th, the “Ilma” on August 4th and the “Le Lapérouse” on August 21st.
The arrival of the “Carnival Miracle” in Warnemünde strengthens the port’s position as an important port for cruises in the Baltic Sea and promises many experiences and opportunities for both passengers and the region.
