Preston Falls Tasmania - easily accessible waterfall in Gunns Plains

Full waterfall leader for visiting Preston Falls in the Gunns Plains in northern Tasmania. How to come here, what awaits you and photos of the waterfall.

Are you looking for a short stop at a waterfall in northern Tasmania? I provided you with this quick and useful guide for checking out the Preston Falls in the Gunns Plains in the north of Tasmania.

This special waterfall is a little confusing because it apparently gave it some names. Apparently the real "Preston Falls" are now on private ground and are not easily accessible. The waterfall that I refer to in this guide has an official guide with the name. However, many Tasmanian locals refer to him as "Delaneys Falls" or "Upper Preston Falls".

Whatever you want to call it, I recommend going to this epic small place to take a short walk into an impressive waterfall.

Preston Falls Tasmania-A short way to a barrier-free waterfall

As soon as you arrive at the parking lot of the waterfall, you will see a guide that shows the way to the short waterfall path to the Preston Fall.

This short walk is only about 300 meters long and follows a gentle slope. On this short walk you can see beautiful fern trees and calmly flowing streams.

The main viewpoint of the waterfall is an increased metal platform with a view to the Preston Falls (or Delayneys Falls). This waterfall flows into the Preston Creek.

While most of the view could satisfy most, we went down the path and followed a rather steep unofficial path to the foot of the waterfall. Here we were able to get a better viewpoint and take more photos of this great little waterfall.
