Wellness vacation for 230 employees: Kranzbach sets new standards!

The Krüner luxury resort “Das Kranzbach” has closed for three days to enable its 230 employees to enjoy a unique wellness trip at the Interalpen Tyrol in Telfs. This extraordinary campaign was organized by the hotel managers Friedhelm Doesel and René Zeise and is intended to strengthen the hotel's corporate culture and express gratitude for the support after the death of the hotel's founder, Dr. Express Jakob Edinger. Main shareholder David Edinger described this initiative as a “wake-up call to a modern corporate culture”.

Around 200 employees accepted the invitation, including both mini-jobbers and directors. Some employees even traveled with dogs, children or bicycles. The cost of the event, which included activities such as tennis, basketball, spa visits, a gala dinner and team development workshops, is estimated to be in the six-figure range. The motto of the event was “Back Forward”.

A variety of team building activities

The wellness trip offered the employees of “Das Kranzbach” a platform to strengthen team spirit and exchange ideas in a relaxed environment. Aside from the sporting and relaxing activities, there was also a party with a DJ and a live band. This mix of leisure activities and team development signaled that the hotel relies on a modern and agile corporate culture.

The values of the noble resort are reflected in the flat hierarchy and fair pay. Other employee benefits include affordable housing, job bikes and a shuttle service. These measures underscore management's commitment to promoting employee satisfaction and retention.

Future of the campaign uncertain

Despite the great success of the wellness program, director Friedhelm Doesel leaves it open whether similar short vacations will also be organized for the workforce in the future. However, the initiative has shown that “Das Kranzbach” takes the appreciation of its employees seriously and is willing to invest in their well-being.

Overall, this campaign illustrates how important a modern working environment and a strong sense of community are for a company's employees. With this measure, “Das Kranzbach” is setting an example for the future and showing that a positive working atmosphere is also of crucial importance in the hotel industry.
