What you expect at the Mungalli if "
The most impressive level at the Mungalli Falls is the lowest level. Although it is not a vertical drop, the current can create a powerful scene, especially in heavy rain.
It is said that the cumulative case of this section is 75 meters. However, it looked a little shorter, maybe 60 meters would be a little more precise. Regardless of this, it is an impressive waterfall and definitely worth a visit if you travel to Millaa Millaa anyway.
Unfortunately there is not much opportunity to swim on this waterfall, since access to the bottom is blocked.

platform animals and fireflies on the Mungalli Falls discover
We were also told that you can see glowworms at the foot of the waterfall. However, if they were there, it was too bright to see them when we were there.
Locals have also mentioned that wild platforms live in the rivers in and around the waterfall. If you manage to discover you, you are a happy visitor.
If there was a gold standard for the observation of Australian wild animals, a wild flap animal would definitely get the cake. If you have not managed to discover one in Mungalli, there is a little tip to go to Yungaburra, which is also located in the Tablelands. There is a small viewpoint about Petersons Creek, where you can often see a wild plat animal!
Mungalli cases weather and climate
The Mungalli Falls and the General Millaa Millaa area are located at an altitude of over 800 meters in the damp tropics of North Queensland. This creates a unique climate, which is sometimes up to 10 degrees cooler than on the coast.
The high surrounding peaks of the WooroOnooran national park, including the highest mountain of Queensland; Mt Bartle Frere, create dense rain clouds that cause constant rains all year round. As a result, the waterfalls in the area always have a decent power and current.
