MSC Cruises: New Culinary concept for an Experi Former experience!
MSC Cruises has introduced an innovative concept for specialty restaurants on the entire fleet, which aims to make the culinary experience more pleasant and transparent for guests. The changes include revised menus at a fixed price and individually adaptable restaurant packages. The new menu design enables guests to choose a selection of dishes for a complete menu consisting of starter, main course and dessert at a fixed price. For special dishes, such as the exclusive Ozaki Wagyu beef, a small surcharge is collected.
The flexible packages that can be booked in advance for one to four restaurant visits are also new. These packages offer guests the opportunity to adapt their visits to personal preferences, including multiple visits to the favorite restaurant. A price advantage of up to 20 percent is possible when booking the packages in comparison to the regular on -board price. These changes react to the desire of the guests for more flexibility, transparency and individuality during their cruises. MSC also emphasizes the importance of high -quality ingredients and diverse culinary experiences on board.diverse restaurant options
One of the highlights in the specialty restaurants is the Butcher’s Cut, a steakhouse in the US style. Since the introduction to the first ships of the Meraviglia class, it has been an integral part of MSC Cruises' gastronomy. The restaurant is characterized by a stylishly rustic ambience, in which photos hang on dark wooden walls and present glass cooling showers the steaks. Guests can enjoy a selection of American wines for their steak.
The locations of Butcher’s Cut can be found in several ship classes:
- Fantasia, Splendida, Divina and Preziosa: deck 7, rear area, near the show lounge.
- Meraviglia, Bellissima, Grandiosa and Virtuosa: Deck 7, gallery of the Galleria.
- Seaside and Seaview: Deck 16, next to Ocean Cay.
- Seashore and Seascape: deck 8, on the chief’s court.
- World Europa: Deck 7, next to the Japanese Kaito.
on the ship Euribia, which belongs to the Meraviglia Plus class, the Butcher’s Cut is missing; Instead, the passengers await the Le Grill restaurant, in which grilled dry-aged Black Angus beef is served. Another specialty restaurant on board the World Europa is the Pizza & Burger, which offers buffets with pizza and grill dishes near the Luna Park Arena on deck 6.
In addition, the Surf & Turf on the Armonia offers a small specialty restaurant that offers space for up to 38 passengers and serves a fine selection of grill specialties made of meat, fish and seafood in an inviting ambience.
These new culinary concepts and facilities ensure that passengers of the MSC fleet can continue to expect an exquisite gastronomic experience that focuses on both diversity and high-quality ingredients.
