Rural women on a tour of discovery: trips to Norway and Mainz!

The Bremervörder rural women have planned unforgettable trips to Norway and Mainz for August 2023. These multi-day trips not only offer participants the opportunity to discover new cultures, but also strengthen the community among rural women.

The trip to Norway takes place from August 19th to August 26th. Anyone interested can register for this trip by contacting Saakje van der Kooi on 04761/70524. Norway, known for its unique nature, culture and history, promises unforgettable experiences. The capital Oslo and the majestic fjords are among the highlights of this Scandinavian travel destination, which is suitable for both active summer holidays and winter sports.

Additional trips to Mainz

In addition to the trip to Norway, the rural women also organized a two-day trip to Mainz on July 25th and 26th. This trip includes a visit to the Henkell-Freixenet sparkling wine cellar in Wiesbaden and a tour of the television garden on the Lerchenberg. You will stay overnight at the Dorint Pallas in Wiesbaden. Anja Nehring is accepting registrations for the Mainz trip on 04765/4443294.

The country women also offer various day trips. This includes a trip to the 2026 State Garden Show in Bad Nenndorf, which will take place on May 28th and September 8th. Registrations can be made by contacting Corinna Holst on 0171/4745426. Another highlight is a visit to the fish cooking studio in Bremerhaven, where a Mediterranean cooking show and gourmet buffet are on the program. A harbor tour in Bremerhaven is also planned. Registrations for this can be made by contacting Karin Steffens on 0160/7849608.

A special note: The rural women are currently also starting another trip to Norway, planned from April 13th to April 18th, 2026. This trip includes a variety of services, including long-distance coach travel, a Kiel-Oslo-Kiel ferry cruise, and several overnight stays in Oslo. Departure points are Morbach ZOB, Mühlheim Apotheke and a passenger parking lot in Wittlich-Wengerohr. Registration for this exciting trip is possible from October 14, 2025 with the organizer Marx-Reisen.
