Lufthansa has published its new winter flight schedule for 2025/2026, which will come into force on October 26, 2025. The focus is on offering a stable, punctual and reliable flight schedule, especially for the Christmas holidays. Daily flights from Munich include sought-after destinations such as New York (JFK and Newark), Chicago, Shanghai, Cape Town, Miami and Tokyo. There are also flights to Bengaluru in India three times a week.
As part of the new flight schedule, Lufthansa is increasingly relying on the innovative Allegris cabin, which is used in ten Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Over 500,000 passengers have already tested the new seats, with over 90% satisfied with their comfort. In addition, the Airbus A380 will fly from Munich and fly to a new winter destination, San Francisco.
Winter destinations in detail
The Airbus A380's long-haul routes this winter will include the following destinations:
- München – Bangkok
- München – Delhi
- München – Los Angeles
- München – San Francisco
The A380 destinations that were served in the summer, such as Boston, Denver, New York and Washington D.C., will instead be served by Airbus A350 aircraft in the winter.
