LMX combines modular trips: Suntrips becomes the new brand!

The LMX Group has decided to bundle its brands in the area of ​​modular trips. From August 2025, the previous name LMX Individual will be converted to Suntrips Individual. The company is thus pursuing the goal of consistently implementing the one-brand strategy and offering all modular trips under the uniform name Suntrips in the future. This was announced in a conversation between Mario Krug (LMX) and Alexander Sieland (Suntrips) in the fvw|TravelTalk studio fvw.de reported.

The unification of the modular travel business is intended to make it possible to offer customers a clearer and simpler booking experience. In fact, Suntrips, which was founded in Berlin in the 1990s as an Asia specialist, will significantly expand its travel offering. In addition to the previous Asia offers, round trips in South America, rental car trips in Europe and combination trips in New Zealand and Australia are now also offered. Tours in particular play a central role in Suntrips' new product portfolio lmx-agent.com.

Expansion of travel offerings

SunTrips will continue to expand its expertise in long-distance travel. Since the takeover by LMX in 2016, the product range in the long-distance travel sector has expanded significantly. The introduction of the latest booking technology enables individually configurable planning of round trips and combination trips. The offer includes live flights, tours, excursions, hotels and transfers. In addition, the SunTrips Agency IBE is available on the LMX Agentweb, which simplifies the booking process for agencies.

Another advantage for travel agencies is the neutral “white label” IBE, which enables integration on their own websites. To use such a solution, a minimum turnover of 20,000 euros is required in the second year. Travel agents who actively work with SunTrips receive fair compensation and benefit from the financial stability that the LMX brand offers. The average turnover per SunTrips booking is around 4,000 euros.

Technology and service

The agency data of the LMX agencies is automatically stored in the SunTrips system, which enables smooth integration. The login details for bookings are easy to use: the LMX agency number serves as the username, while the travel agency's zip code is used as the password. These innovation steps ensure that travel agencies are optimally supported to offer their customers the best trips.
