Da Nang attracts tourists from Kazakhstan and CIS with new direct flights!
From May 12 to 23, 2025, Anex Vietnam Company launched a significant program in Da Nang. The aim is to attract tourists from Kazakhstan and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to Vietnam. This venture attracts the attention of 100 leading sales representatives from Kazakhstan and the CIS countries, who take part in various activities.
A central element of the program is a tourism promotion seminar taking place on May 14th. Here, regional representatives of the CIS and hotel partners of Anex Vietnam present their products and services. The B2B seminar provides a platform to increase awareness of tourism products and optimize sales efficiency for the upcoming 2025-2026 tourist season.
Strategic development of Da Nang
Nguyen Duc Tan, General Director of Anex Vietnam, emphasizes that this program is part of a long-term strategy to further develop Da Nang as an attractive tourist destination. Charter flights from Russia to Da Nang are already planned for the summer of 2026, which will have a capacity of up to 13,000 passengers per month. These new connections are expected to further increase Da Nang's appeal to international tourists.
Deputy Director of Da Nang Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An highlights Da Nang's safety and hospitality during the workshop. The city will merge with Quang Nam Province in the future and is expected to develop into one of the largest tourist resorts in the country.
Tourist attraction and cooperation
Da Nang offers access to some of Vietnam's most popular tourist destinations, including Hoi An Old Town and My Son Sanctuary. Currently, around 10,000 visitors per month travel to Da Nang from Kazakh and Uzbek cities via direct flights. The ministry plans to further promote cooperation between domestic companies and the markets of Kazakhstan and the CIS.
Anex Vietnam's initiative could act as a catalyst to make Da Nang an even more sought-after destination in international tourism. Efforts to attract tourists from these regions are an important step towards sustainably strengthening the tourism infrastructure and the local economy.
