On May 21, 2025, iVIVU.com and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) signed a significant strategic cooperation agreement. The aim of this collaboration is to increase the number of Vietnamese tourists in Singapore, establishing the city-state as a top travel destination for this target group. This reports vietnam.vn.
As part of this partnership, both sides plan to communicate on multiple platforms and offer a variety of high-quality tourism products. These offers include not only hotel and flight ticket combinations, but also cruises, centrally located hotels and tickets to various entertainment venues. These measures are intended to help improve Vietnamese tourists' travel experiences in Singapore.
Expectations for the future
The STB expects over 16.5 million international visitors and tourism revenue of SGD 29.8 billion in 2024. The number of Vietnamese visitors to Singapore is estimated at more than 393,000, with Vietnam among the top 15 source markets for Singapore, with significant growth potential particularly in the high-value segment.
iVIVU's Tran Chau Thanh Truc highlights the benefits of Singapore as a travel destination. He emphasizes the short flight of around two hours as well as the quick entry formalities and the modern transport system that make Singapore particularly attractive. Additionally, the number of Singaporean visitors to Vietnam is expected to exceed 347,000 in 2024. More than 110,000 visitors from Singapore have already been welcomed to Vietnam in the first four months of 2025, representing a significant increase compared to last year.
