Saigon Co.op is organizing the "Journey of Happiness" across Vietnam from April 24 to May 31, 2025 to promote cultural values and community engagement.

The “Journey of Happiness” is in full swing and was launched by Saigon Co.op. This remarkable event runs from April 24 to May 31, 2025 and aims to spread positive values in the Vietnamese community. This campaign, launched to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam's reunification on April 30, 1975, offers various cultural and social activities to strengthen pride in national identity.
The bus trip takes a route from northern to southern Vietnam and is expected to cover 50 stops, including Quang Tri Province. Saigon Co.op encourages participants to take photos with the Vietnamese national flag. For each “Happy Photo” submitted, a donation of VND5,000 will be made to a center for the care of war invalids in Nghe An Province. This not only encourages participation but also combines social responsibility with the celebration of the country.
Cultural highlights and local products
The event in Quang Tri attracts hundreds of customers who take part in cultural and artistic activities. High-quality Vietnamese goods are also presented as gifts to veterans, highlighting the connection to the country's history and culture. A special focus is on the exhibition of OCOP products, which will be presented in Quang Tri by 10 companies and production facilities. A total of 98 products are on display, 48 of which are recognized as OCOP products with 3 to 5 stars.
The campaign also aims to create an online map of Vietnam from 50,000 happy faces with the national flag. This initiative not only strengthens community spirit but also promotes connection between Vietnamese people in different regions of the country. On April 30, the anniversary of reunification, over 800 Saigon Co.op outlets will fly the national flag and staff will appear in uniformed outfits displaying the flag.
The “Journey of Happiness” is therefore not only a celebration of national identity, but also an important step towards promoting local culture and products as well as supporting social projects. With special promotions such as discounts of up to 50% and gifts for customers who shop from April 24th to May 14th, Saigon Co.op strengthens its commitment to the community and aims to be seen as a symbol of national identity and community engagement.
