The new Ford Tourneo Custom: The off-road camper for adventurers!

Bad Kissingen, Deutschland - Today, Vanexxt GmbH presented an innovative, modular furniture concept for the Ford Tourneo Custom Active. The presentation of the new vehicles takes place on the "Adventure & Allrad" fair in Bad Kissingen, which is open from June 19th to June 22, 2025. CEO Laurenz Krieger refers to the success of the first off-road camp that was based on VW T6.1, and sees it as the basis for the latest project, which is designed for flexibility and adaptability. The company, with its headquarters in Breitengüßbach, pursues the goal of offering a wider range of camping solutions.

Die Vanexxt GmbH, founded in 2022 as a joint venture between Busboxx and Drivedressy, has set itself the goal of developing the Ford Tourneo Custom V710 into one of the most flexible vehicles in Europe. This flexibility is shown in a mutual work with well -known accessory brands such as Streetec, Terranger and Delta4x4 to create an extensive range of modules for different applications.

modularity and flexibility

The interior concept uses a modulus design that can be tailored to the individual needs of users. The basic equipment of the camp includes camper electronics, a rail floor and a small hob in the rear. In addition, various expansion options are available, which include a 230 V electricity supply, an 800 W single-top plate and prepared connections for a second battery.

  • Level 1 expansion:
    • 230-V power connection and socket
    • 800 w single cupboard
    • preliminary wiring for a second battery
    • Gooseck reading light
    • foldable outdoor table with chair set
  • Level 2 expansion (including all levels 1 features):
    • Camping heating
    • touchscreen for controlling lighting and heating
    • Double-zone air conditioning system
    • trailer coupling with electrical preparation
    • expanded driver assistance characteristics

Optionally, a rhyme pop-up roof with a mattress in the size of 44 x 76 inches can be added. With regard to the seating options, both three -seat folding seats and individual driver's seats are available, which take up to seven passengers and offer space for up to four adults to sleep.

chassis and off-road options

The chassis of the Ford Tourneo Custom is equipped with a 170-hp diesel engine and all-wheel drive. Here, customers benefit from two off-road chassis options offered by Streetec: an air suspension with a car league function and a coilover kit that can be adapted to the camping equipment. In addition, Terranger offers a heat rate for a static increase of 30 mm.

For leisure use, attachments such as underbody protection, rock slider, mountains, rear carriers and roof rack carriers from Terranger are available. The overall package is supplemented by Delta4x4 rims (18 inches) and Loder at#1 tires that are once again aimed at the off-road capabilities of the camper.

The introduction of the Ford Tourneo Custom V710 in the camper area aims to meet the needs of different user groups, be it for leisure, work or school activities. This all -rounder should make the need for a second vehicle superfluous and offer the optimal combination of functionality and comfort. The price for the basic model starts just under 54,440 euros, while a fully equipped level 2 camp comes up with prices of up to 80,318 euros. The expansive modularity and the multitude of adaptation options could thus revolutionize the market for campers, such as "https://newatlas.com/automotive/vanexxt-worlds-most-flexible-camper-van/"> New Atlas
