This year's club trip in 1892 Freyung took this year's club trip this year. After the return trip to the valley station, the participants experienced the charming old town of Gmunden. The lake promenade, which leads to the sea castle, and the numerous sights of the city delighted the day trippers. Gmunden is known for local ceramics and was once a popular summer stay during the k. u. K. monarchy.

The historic marketplace with the impressive town hall, the Rinnholzplatz with the Salzrägerbrunnen and the Kammerhof, which was built in 1450 and was once the seat of the Habsburg Salz Chamber, were one of the central sights. The Villa Toscana, picturesque in the middle of a park, also attracted attention.
