Vinh, Vietnam - The celebrations for the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh pick up speed. On May 15, 2025, the National Festival "Sen Village", which is organized on the occasion of this remarkable anniversary, was ceremoniously opened in the province of NGHE. A highlight of the festival is the inauguration of a statue entitled "Onkel Ho visits home", which reaches a height of 12.5 meters. This statue was donated by the Ministry of Public Security and is in the Sen Village Stadium in the municipality of Kim Lien. Ho Chi Minh came back to his hometown in 1957 and 1961 and was looking for contact with the residents and local authorities. The statue symbolizes the imperishable influence and memory of the president.
