Florian Silbereisen, the well-known 43-year-old pop star, has had an impressive career in the German music business. He consistently pursued his dream of becoming a musician and is now a permanent fixture in the pop world. He underlines his musical success with emotional songs and numerous TV shows, including as captain of the ZDF dream ship. But Silbereisen has not only made a name for himself as a musician; he also ambitiously attempted to break world records.
Back in 1997, a radio host set the record of kissing 80 women in three minutes. Silbereisen achieved his first world record certificate in 2008 with 36 kisses in just one minute. Another unforgettable highlight was that he also kissed a bear and a sea lion in the same year. In 2011, Silbereisen beat his own records on the live TV show “The Winter Festival of Folk Music” and kissed 117 women one after the other. This record remains unchallenged to this day, as Silbereisen currently no longer holds a world kissing record.
The cheerleaders' record
As part of his kissing ambitions, Silbereisen recently had the opportunity to kiss 74 cheerleaders from Alba Berlin on the ZDF television garden. This happened in just 30 seconds and was part of an attempt to break the world record for the most kisses in half a minute. The previous record was 63 kisses and was set by the well-known chef Sarah Wiener.
Despite his remarkable attempts to make the most of every kissing act, Silbereisen currently doesn't hold any of the top spots in the kissing records. The current record for most kisses in a minute is 258, set by Paul Fremeau and Alina Evans. However, remembering his earlier records, Florian Silbereisen remains a dazzling figure in the German Schlager and a real entertainer.
