Climbing forest on Wallberg: Exciting nature experience for the whole family!

In the Tegernsee region, a new leisure project is initiated: Jörg Derzbach plans to build a climbing park on Wallberg, which is to be built next to the Wallbergmoosalm. The project is called "Climbing Wald Wallbergmoos - Real Nature experience with a view of the Tegernsee" and is intended to offer both locals and tourists an exciting adventure in nature. Derzbach, a 46-year-old career, tree climber and canyoning guide from Gmund, is very interested in expanding the leisure opportunities in the beautiful mountain landscape, reports merkur .

The newly planned climbing forest is said to consist of 65 trees, including spruces, firs and books. A total of eight courses with different levels of difficulty are planned, which are also accessible to children from the age of four. Particular attention is paid to installing the climbing elements tree -friendly so that a residue -free dismantling is possible. For the infrastructure and operation of the climbing forest, attention was paid to sustainability, for example by using wood chips and dry-cutting toilets. A digital booking system is also sought to avoid overcrowding.

support and concerns

Christian Stadler, chairman of the Rottach-Egern Verkehrs- und Beaeting Association, sees the project for the toll revenue of Panoramastraße, while Mayor Josef Bierschneider is open to the project, but emphasizes the operating hours (1 p.m. to 7 p.m. from 11 a.m.). So far, however, no official application has been made for the project, and it must be clarified which type of application is required.

The nature conservation association "Wildes Bavaria" has now requested access to the file at the district office. A non -public on -site appointment with the nature conservation advisory board was announced to assess the location on site. The approval procedure is carried out in cooperation with the municipality, the state building authority and the lower nature conservation authority.
