Holdenried Reisen, a renowned cruise specialist from Heimenkirch, has opened its new headquarters in the Erba area in Wangen. The official inauguration of the modern premises will take place on May 15, 2025. Regular travel agency operations will begin on May 19th, and three open days will be offered from May 22nd to 24th to showcase the company's innovative design and new offerings.

The new branch offers around 500 square meters of commercial space and is strategically located to be closer to the core customers and cooperation partners in Upper Swabia. In addition, the improved parking logistics, made possible by the location in the Erba area, promise higher foot traffic. Managing director Peter Zick, who took over management of the company six months after the death of company founder Günther Holdenried, emphasizes the focus on digital presentations and customer advice as part of the new concept.

Innovative design and gastronomy

The new office impresses with its attractive design, which is reminiscent of “boarding” a cruise ship. The entrance area is designed with a ramp and rope railing. In addition, a five by three meter LED screen was integrated to present video trailers. In the “Holdi Bar” the focus is on the memory of the late company founder, while the “Captains Lounge” impresses with its maritime ambience and handcrafted elements such as a ventilation rotor turbine and a steel door with a porthole.

The company also placed emphasis on attractive acoustics. Ceiling elements in the shape of clouds serve to dampen noise in the open office landscape. Counseling desks are designed in a wave shape and the historic industrial design is maintained with steel beams and open ceiling ducts. This combination of modern and traditional elements creates a unique experience.

Future plans for Holdenried Reisen

The company invested around 2.5 million euros in purchasing and equipping the new property. The sales forecast shows an increase from 11 million euros in 2024 to an expected 12 to 13 million euros in 2025, with the aim of an annual sales increase of around 10 percent in the following years. These ambitious plans are supported by the use of high quality materials and creative design.
