Cruises 2025: Bremerhaven welcomes 300,000 passengers!
Bremerhaven is proving to be a lively port for cruise ships this year. As of July 6, 2025, the city has already recorded 100 cruise ship calls. The season extends from January to December and large numbers of arrivals are expected for the current summer season. The main shipping companies that serve Bremerhaven are TUI Cruises with the ships “Mein Schiff 2” and “Mein Schiff 3”, as well as Phoenix Reisen, which includes several ships such as the “MS Amera”, “MS Amadea”, “MS Artania” and the “MS Deutschland”.
The cruise ships dock at Columbuskaje, which is about two kilometers from the city center. This is where the gathering of around 300,000 passengers visiting the city takes place. The visitor gallery at Steubenstrasse 7 as well as access via stairs and elevator are available to guests. On departure days, the gallery is open from 8:00 a.m. until half an hour after departure. The ship's horn can be heard in some parts of the city when the ships leave.

This overview shows just some of the planned arrivals over the course of the year. An extensive list includes numerous other dates until the end of 2025, although changes to the schedules cannot be ruled out. This year, another highlight will be celebrated under the sign of connectivity, as the Columbus Cruise Center Bremerhaven, which was inaugurated on May 2, 2003, remains a central contact point for the deep sea and cruise industry.
