Attention culture fans: new concerts at Lake VINETA are starting soon!

Today, May 30, 2025, the new season of the popular concert series “Music at the Dispatcher Tower” begins. This takes place on Thursdays between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the premises of the VINETA Bistro and offers a variety of music styles, including pop, rock, folk, blues and garage. Mynewsdesk reports that the concerts not only promise musical enjoyment, but also offer the opportunity to experience the special ambience of VINETA.

On June 5, 2025, the band Klinge & Co. will perform handmade live music. Entry to the VINETA bistro area is free; However, guests are welcome to pay a cultural contribution. Tickets booked in advance enable seat reservations, which is particularly advantageous for popular events. Another highlight is the sold-out double concert by Die Zöllner in the Trio Infernale, which will take place on June 1, 2025.

Special features of the VINETA venue

The VINETA is an extraordinary event location in the south of Leipzig and, with a height of 15 meters, is considered the highest floating structure on a German lake. Vineta-Stoermthal.de added that this impressive building can be rented not only for concerts, but also for weddings and exclusive events.

The bistro is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with food available from 11:00 a.m. During events that take place as part of the concert series, the bistro remains open until 8:00 p.m. This ensures that guests can also enjoy an extensive range of food and drinks during the concerts.

Remembering past places

The VINETA symbolizes the lost Magdeborn church and serves as a memorial for the settlements that had to give way to the Espenhain open-cast brown coal mine. The surrounding lakes, including Störmthaler See and Markkleeberger See, are direct witnesses to this history. The Krystallpalast Varieté Leipzig has been organizing concerts, readings and even civil weddings at VINETA for over ten years.

To make the journey easier, the boat crossing over Lake Störmthal to VINETA usually begins one hour before the concert begins. This not only makes the journey uncomplicated, but also an impressive experience for tourists and locals in the Leipzig Neuseenland.

Overall, the new season of the concert series is a highlight in the cultural life of the region and invites both music lovers and pleasure lovers to spend unforgettable evenings in the VINETA.
