Reading and Tasty: Discover the Lebenstedt City Library!
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, a special event will take place in the Lebenstedt City Library that invites you to discover and enjoy. Under the motto “Reading and Tasting”, a varied program will be presented from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. that includes cheerful, tricky and exciting texts about travel. The event is led by Sylvia Fiedler, head of the city library, who offers selected readings and takes participants into the world of books.
The event takes place at Joachim-Campe-Straße 4 and, in addition to the readings, also includes a short tour of the city library. Sufficient food is ensured as drinks and snacks are provided. The aim of this initiative is to promote interest in the library and to familiarize people with literature.
A contribution to the community
“Reading and Tasty” is part of a larger project for district work that has been launched since June 2022 by Wohnbau Salzgitter, the building cooperative ›Nachbau‹ eG and the city of Salzgitter. This program aims to create a vibrant neighborhood in which cohesion and good neighborliness are paramount. The event in the city library is intended to help strengthen the community and promote cultural togetherness.
