The new SAT.1 dating show “Amore unter Palmen” promises emotional moments and international love stories. The show started on April 28, 2025 and highlights the relationships of seven German women and men who are looking for happiness in love in different countries. The protagonists include Claudia (37) from Hanover and Rolence (37) from Tanzania, who get to know each other better in the show and put their relationship to the test. However, while Claudia has fallen in love with Rolence, there are doubts about his intentions. Critics suspect that Rolence may just want to come to Germany and is just staging his love.

In the fourth episode of the show, Claudia and Rolence emotionally separate after Rolence's visa to visit Germany is rejected. This was due to missing documents, which led to frustration on Claudia's part. Nevertheless, Rolence managed to reconcile Claudia with a touching message. Four months later, Claudia travels to Africa again, now in the presence of her sister Eileen (31) and a friend, to visit Rolence. In this atmosphere of reunion, Rolence is planning a marriage proposal and has already hinted at it.
