The gaming world is eagerly awaiting the progress of the popular Nioh series after KOEI TECMO Europe and Team NINJA announced the development of Nioh 3 on September 25, 2025. The game will be released on February 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC via Steam. The first glimpses provide a fascinating look at the plot, which is deeply rooted in Japan's Sengoku era.

The story focuses on Tokugawa Takechiyo, who acts as the Shogun's heir. His younger brother, Tokugawa Kunimatsu, rebels against him out of jealousy and plots his overthrow.
