The Bochum Symphony Orchestra will open the doors to the concert box office in the Musikforum on June 10, 2025 for a special day. On this special opening day, music lovers can purchase their concert tickets directly on site and receive further information about upcoming events. The concert box office in the Musikforum is located at Marienplatz 1 in Bochum and is open on the special opening day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular opening hours are Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please note that the ticket office will be closed from July 14th to August 3rd, 2025. Card offers and ordering options

Tickets for the concerts are available not only at the concert box office, but also at the Tourist Information Bochum. This is located at Huestrasse 9 and is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Online bookings can also be made. Additional fees apply when reserving online and payment is possible by credit card. Tickets can either be sent or printed out as Print@Home, which makes purchasing particularly flexible.

Discounts and special conditions

There are reduced tickets at 50% of the regular price for young people up to 18 years old, students up to 29 years old, trainees, severely disabled people with at least 80% disability and holders of a discount card (Bochum Pass). These proofs must be presented upon entry. There is also a special U-30 regulation whereby schoolchildren and students can get remaining tickets for just 6.00 euros ten minutes before the concert begins.

Gift vouchers are available online, at the concert box office and at the tourist information office. These vouchers are valid for all Bochum Symphony Orchestra concerts, excluding guest performances and cooperation events, and are valid for three years.

The offer is rounded off by the evening box office, which usually opens one hour before the concert begins. Reserved tickets must be picked up at least half an hour before the start of the concert to ensure smooth entry.
