Petra Holland-Cunz from Suhl is causing excitement after she won three prizes in the 2024 city marketing competition on May 4, 2025, including the main prize. The main prize, a travel voucher worth 1,000 euros, was sponsored by the Suhl City Marketing Initiative and supported by Hörgeräte Möckel GmbH. The raffle took place as part of the “Suhler Frühling”, in which over 3,000 participants took part with fully filled out stamp cards that they had collected through shopping and restaurant visits in Suhl city center, reports insuedthueringen.de.

The drawing for the main prize was carried out by the “lucky fairy” Klara, and Petra Holland-Cunz has been following the prize campaign for two years. She visits the city center almost every day to do her shopping and has not only earned rewards but also the opportunity to win a great prize.

Vacation plans after winning

Although winning was an unexpected joy, the voucher coincides perfectly with her vacation plans. Instead of staying boring at home, Petra is planning a trip to Porto, Portugal, with her daughter Sandra and grandson Emil in July 2025. This trip will certainly lead to an unforgettable experience, as the anticipation of the vacation is now even greater.

The 2024 city marketing competition is not the first of its kind. There were similar events in 2022 with over 3,000 entries. A total of 35 prizes were raffled off, with the main prize also being a travel voucher worth 1,000 euros, which was won by another participant, Peter Lampert. In addition, there were other prizes, including vouchers from local shops that support the community, such as shopping vouchers for watches and jewelry Steigleder worth 300 euros, won by Peter Kuhles, and a voucher for the Darimana Store worth 100 euros, won by Siegfried Zacher. The city marketing competition will continue in 2023 and runs from January 1st to December 31st, 2023. The main prize for this year is once again a travel voucher worth 1,000 euros. The participants are eagerly awaiting the next prize draw, which will take place as part of the weekly raffle among the stamp cards received by then.
