Compared to 2022, another 50 percent of Germans strive for a vacation in their own country.

The ADAC emphasizes the need to keep the holiday costs affordable and to avoid an increase in these costs. From a political point of view, a review of fees in air traffic and measures to compensate for the increasing CO2 price is required to ensure the attractiveness of travel in the long term.
