Stefanie Hertel (45 years old) and her daughter Johanna Mross (23 years old, now Joey) not only have talented voices, but also look similar. Particularly during a hit trip to Fuerteventura for the “Fly & Help” organization, Peter Orloff (81) managed to mistakenly identify Johanna as her mother when he saw her at the pool and remarked that she looked 20. Johanna, who has red hair, found the mix-up funny and emphasized that it had not been long since her last meeting with Orloff.
Stefanie Hertel commented that such mix-ups are common and that Johanna sees them as a compliment because her mother is her greatest role model. The two spend a lot of time together and also appear together, which further increases the confusion. Johanna confirmed that she lives near her mother, which allows them to meet easily.
From pastry chef to artist
Johanna Mross completed her training as a pastry chef in 2024 and is now bringing a breath of fresh air to the music scene as an artist under the name Joey. However, it is clear that she is not aiming for a classic pop career and initially wanted to gain a foothold in the pastry trade.
She inherited her love of music not only from her mother, but also from her stepfather Lanny Lanner (50), who gave her a guitar as a child. In her free time, Johanna loves baking while listening to loud music. This is also reflected in her active participation in the family band More Than Words, which consists of Stefanie Hertel, Lanny Lanner and Johanna.
