Where is Lady Barron Falls
Lady Barron Falls is located in Mount Field National Park. This park is located approximately 70 kilometers northwest of Hobart.
How do I get here?
To get here you need to drive to the Mount Field National Park Visitor Center. The park is accessible by car via Brooker and Lyell Highways. Expect to drive approximately 1.5 hours from Hobart on well-maintained, paved roads for the entire route.
Unfortunately, there is no public transportation or organized tours that stop at Lady Barron Falls. However, if you are in Hobart and are keen to explore the wonders of Mount Field National Park, I would suggest booking a full day trip that also includes a tour of Mount Wellington and more.

What to expect on the hiking trail
The best way to visit this waterfall is to take the Three Falls Circuit Track from the visitor center at the entrance to the national park. This 6 kilometer circuit takes in Mount Field's best natural attractions, including Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the famous Tall Trees Circuit.
Most hikers will find this trail very easy. This is because the entire trail for the entire loop is wide, cleared, and very well maintained. You'll also notice that the loop is relatively flat until the end, where hikers must climb steep wooden stairs up the gully to return to the visitor center.

Visiting Lady Barron Falls in Tasmania
Hikers will find the cascade hidden in the corner of the forest. This lush waterfall plunges 8 meters before gently snaking down into the gorge. At the base of the waterfall is a wide promenade-style viewing platform that provides an excellent spot for photography.
Below are some of the pictures I took during my visit to the waterfall on the Three Falls Circuit.
