How do I get here
To get here, you have to go to the visitor center of Mount Field National Park. The park can be reached by car via the Highways Brooker and Lyell. Calculate with an approximately 1.5-hour drive from Hobart on well-kept, paved roads for the entire route.
Unfortunately there are no public transport or organized tours that stop at Lady Barron Falls. However, if you are in Hobart and definitely want to explore the miracles of Mount Field National Park, I would suggest booking a full -day trip that also includes a tour to Mount Wellington and more.

What to expect on the hiking trail
It is best to visit this waterfall by taking from the visitor center at the entrance to the national park from the Three Falls Circuit Track. This 6 -kilometer circuit includes the best natural attractions on Mount Field, including Russell Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the famous Tall Trees Circuit. Most hikers will see this path as very easy. This is because the entire route is wide, cleared and very well maintained for the entire loop. You will also find that the loop is relatively flat to the end, where hikers have to climb a steep wooden staircase to return to the visitor center.

Visiting Lady Barron Falls in Tasmania
hikers find the cascade hidden in the corner of the forest. This lush waterfall falls 8 meters into the depth before it meanders gently into the gorge. At the foot of the waterfall there is a broad viewing platform in a promenade style that offers an excellent place to take pictures.
