Little world explorers: Musical adventure in punching by the lake!
The Lochen am See adventure kindergarten has successfully completed an annual musical project. On May 22, 2025, the musical “A Trip Around the World” was performed, which the children and teachers performed with great enthusiasm. A total of almost 120 kindergarten children between the ages of three and six took part in this creative event.
The project was part of the cooperation “ELMUKI – elementary music making with children in kindergarten and playroom”, which is a collaboration between the Education Directorate, Elementary Education Department, and the Upper Austria. State music school work represents. This initiative aims to promote musical education at an early stage and to give children a new form of expression through music.
Musical development
The children worked under the direction of state music school teacher Verena Hofbauer, who knew how to cleverly bundle their talents. The musical journey the children took led from Lochen am See to various continents, including Africa, America, Europe and India. Exciting topics such as wild pirates were covered, which stimulated the children's interest and imagination.
The performance was also supported by 18 instrumental students from the Mattighofen State Music School and the Musikum Obertrum, who gave the musical the necessary musical framework. The children not only had the opportunity to gain stage experience, but also learned about different instruments.
A successful finale
The performance was accompanied by traditional music, songs and dances that reflected the diversity of musical cultures. The audience, consisting of parents, grandparents and friends, was enthusiastic and applauded loudly at the end of the event.
