On May 30, 2025, the Mein Schiff 1 will dock in the port of Kiel for the first time this year. This arrival marks the beginning of the “Rock ‘n’ Sail 2025” event trip with the popular musician Peter Maffay and his band. The ship had previously completed a five-day positioning trip from Hamburg to Kiel and will go on an exciting journey after a change of guests.

The event trip lasts until June 5, 2025 and takes passengers to Copenhagen, Kristiansand and Oslo. On board the Mein Schiff 1, guests can expect three major concerts in which Peter Maffay will perform live. In addition to Maffay, other artists such as Julian Pförtner, Björn Paulsen and the band The Live Society will also provide musical entertainment. The radio presenter Uwe Bahn will conduct interviews with the artists as part of the “Stars at Sea Talks”, which further enriches the offering on board.

The route of Mein Schiff 1 includes the stops Kiel – Copenhagen – Seetag – Kristiansand – Oslo – Seetag – Kiel. After the event trip, the ship will be used on regular summer routes in the Baltic Sea and to Norway, whereby it will be regularly docked at Kiel's Ostseekai until August 22, 2025. From the end of August 2025, Mein Schiff 1 will leave Northern Europe and head for the east coast of North America.

Those interested in taking part in the trip can book via a digital waiting room from December 5, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. The prices for the cabins are as follows: inside cabin from 1,649 euros per person, outside cabin from 1,799 euros and balcony cabin from 1,999 euros, each with double occupancy. However, a waiting room does not guarantee a booking and it is possible to be placed on a waiting list.
