Lufthansa has announced its new winter flight schedule for 2025/2026, which will come into force from October 26, 2025. This schedule is particularly appealing to travelers looking to fly during the Christmas holidays. Kennedy and Newark), Chicago, Shanghai, Cape Town, Miami and Tokyo. There are also flights to Bengaluru in India three times a week. Lufthansa is using ten Airbus A350-900s, which are equipped with the new cabin equipment. Over 500,000 passengers have already tested the new seats, with more than 90% enthusiastic about the reviews.
New A380 destination and existing routes
A notable change to the winter schedule is the introduction of San Francisco as a new destination for the Airbus A380. This will complement the existing A380 routes to Bangkok, Delhi and Los Angeles. A380 series aircraft will serve some of the most popular destinations, while the A380s previously served destinations such as Boston, Denver, New York and Washington D.C. to be replaced by the Airbus A350 in winter.
The European connection to Oradea in Romania also remains in winter, making planning easier for travelers from this region.
