on Sunday, June 29, 2025, the Kiel Week ends with a spectacular final staging on the Kiel Fjord. This event, which is under the motto "At home under stars", is sponsored by AIDA Cruises and promises an unforgettable evening for visitors. The show begins at 11 p.m. and is accompanied by impressive lighting and fireworks effects.

During the entire Kiel Week, which takes place from June 20th to 29th, 2025, the guests were able to admire numerous high-sea cruise ships in the Kiel harbor landscape. There were a total of 15 cruise ships, and on June 28th the remarkable 4000th cruise was reached.

The grand finale is supported by the Bundeswehr and, in addition to the spectacular fireworks display, also includes a modern drone and laser show. A striking shipyard crane from German Naval Yards is integrated into the lighting scenes, which gives the event an additional visual dimension. Boats on the water provide additional light and fog effects.

The Reventloubrücke will be reserved for people with impairments from 8 p.m. in order to enable all viewers to look at the events. Ferries can continue to operate in regular operation, so that visitors can easily get to the event area.

At 10 p.m. torch swimmers will jump into the water with shining torches. They swim from the Reventloubrücke to the seal on the Kiellinie. The spectators are invited to imitate the movements of the torches with their smartphones in order to become part of the event.
