Classical highlight: Katona Twins enchant the castle with magical music!
The final concert of the Burger Klassiktage will take place on May 23, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in the Senator Thomsen House in Burg. The renowned guitar duo “Katona Twins” will perform under the motto “Magic Alhambra and the Fairy Tale of Hollywood”. Peter and Zoltan Katona, the twin brothers from Liverpool, are among the best classical guitar duos in the world and have already impressed with impressive performances at the Burger Klassiktage in 2017 and 2018.
This year's concert will be a special highlight, including Spanish sounds from Isaac Albéniz, Enrique Granados and Manuel de Falla. Excerpts from Leonard Bernstein's famous “West Side Story” will also be on the program. The duo's musical diversity is impressive as they transcend traditional boundaries of their line-up and incorporate crossover elements to popular styles.

Tickets for the concert cost 19.00 euros, while children and young people pay a reduced price of 10.00 euros. Advance ticket sales are available online via the city of Fehmarn website fehmarn.de/events as well as at the Niederlechner and Sonnenseiten bookstores and at the Fehmarn Tourism Service in Burg and Burgtiefe. For last-minute attendees, the box office opens on May 23rd at 6:30 p.m.
