Fireworks and feast: Danang expects splendor at DIFF 2025!

The Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) will take place from May 31 to July 12, 2025, and this year will feature teams from nine countries. The six-week event attracts large numbers of visitors as the city of Danang strives to increase its appeal as a tourist destination. Wyndham Danang Golden Bay Hotel has developed special programs for the holiday season to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. According to Vietnam.vn, resorts and hotels offer product packages that combine vacations and fireworks viewing.

As part of these offerings, Wyndham Danang is launching several highlight events during the festival. This includes the “Skyflare Night” finger food buffet at the infinity pool, which offers a breathtaking view of the fireworks. There is also the “Bubble Foam” program every Saturday evening, a bubble party, as well as a premium buffet with a special drink menu at the F29 Golden Beef & Sky Bar. Room packages start at VND 1,899,000 for two guests and include breakfast and a lunch menu.

Expectations and safety measures

The Sheraton Grand Danang Resort is expecting heavy crowds from Switzerland and Hong Kong. Emilio Fortini, the general manager of the resort, reports an increase in the number of visitors, which is clearly noticeable in advance, especially during the fireworks events. To ensure guests have a safe experience, water tourism companies rely on licensed boats for fireworks viewing. The prices for tickets on these ships range from 1 to 1.5 million VND. In addition, the safety of tourists is considered an important concern.

Nguyen Duc Quynh, chairman of the Danang Hotel Association, highlights that the industry is aware of its responsibility to improve the city's image. The hoteliers have not only increased their staff, but also carried out intensive training to optimize the quality of service during the festival. These measures are intended to help ensure guests have an all-round positive experience.

Exclusive VIP packages and events

To mark the occasion, Marriott Bonvoy is offering exclusive VIP packages for DIFF 2025. Five Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts in Danang have put together special arrangements that include an overnight stay, breakfast for two, two VIP tickets to the festival and return transfers between the hotel and the event. A special highlight is the opening match on May 31st, in which Vietnam will play against Finland at the Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center.

The following event packages are also planned: On June 7th, Vietnam plays Poland at the Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, and on June 14th, guests can expect fireworks from Canada and China at Non Nuoc Beach Villas. Also on the program are fireworks from Portugal and the UK at the Four Points by Sheraton Danang on June 21st and a duel between South Korea and Italy at the Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center on June 28th. The grand finale will take place on July 12th at the Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River.

Only two packages are available each weekend, requiring participants to participate in a bidding process. Members can submit offers to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience on the official Marriott Bonvoy Moments website. With such initiatives, Danang positions itself as an exciting destination for tourists during the festival and beyond.
