In a sensitive change, two German airlines, Condor and ITA Airways have announced adjustments to their hand luggage regulations. In addition, larger hand luggage from 14.99 euros can be booked depending on the flight zone, which should plan travelers in advance what they want to take on board. Ita Airways, which has now taken over the Alitalia flight operations as a subsidiary of Lufthansa, has also introduced new weight restrictions on hand luggage. Passengers can now take a maximum of 8 kg for their hand luggage and a personal item. The maximum dimensions for the hand luggage are 55 x 35 x 25 cm, while the personal object may not be larger than 45 x 36 x 20 cm. This regulation applies to all routes and booking classes. Over the luggage usually has to be given up, which causes additional costs for travelers.
