First state trainer award in Stuttgart: 12 talents honored!
On May 20, 2025, the first award ceremony for the Baden-Württemberg State Trainer Award took place in the Stuttgart Hospitalhof. Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, the Minister for Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism, presented the eagerly awaited prize to twelve outstanding trainers and training teams. This year around 180 applications were received, from which an independent jury of experts selected the winners.
The jury was made up of trainees, representatives of the chambers and training companies. In addition to a trophy and a certificate, each of the winners received prize money of 2,000 euros. The aim of the prize is to make innovative and educationally valuable training methods visible and to recognize the high level of vocational training in Baden-Württemberg. The award is aimed at trainers who work in in-company training in the areas of industry, crafts and the liberal professions.
Diverse evaluation criteria
The evaluation of the submitted applications was based on several criteria. This includes:
- Innovation in der Ausbildung
- Digitalität und Lernerfolg
- Fachübergreifende Kompetenzen und Persönlichkeitsentwicklung der Auszubildenden
- Vielfalt und Übergänge in der Ausbildung
- Wow-Effekt und Ausbilderpersönlichkeit
These criteria reflect the great importance that innovative teaching methods and the support of young people in vocational training have. The award winners thus actively contribute to securing the future of Baden-Württemberg as a business location.
