In one particular incident, an eight-year-old boy from the Nuremberg area was caught during cross-border rail traffic checks when he wanted to travel alone to the Czech Republic. He ran away from school and was safely handed over to his parents. This shows how important such security measures are.
Results and arrests
In addition to traffic controls, officers also discovered illegal trafficking during their operations. During a check on the A70, they found a cache of contraband in an Audi that contained high-quality perfumes, branded clothing and cash. They also discovered two illegal jamming devices.
