Tourism in Greece is experiencing a remarkable comeback in the middle of the year, as the latest figures show. There was a strong increase in passengers at the airports, particularly at the beginning of the year. According to a survey on the most popular food in Greek taverns, the prevailing preference for certain dishes was revealed. A total of 350 votes were registered, with meat dishes such as pita gyros and souvlaki taking the top spots with 89 votes (24.38%) and fish dishes with 91 votes (24.93%). Moussaka was also well received with 39 votes (10.68%).
The survey highlights the great interest in traditional Greek cuisine, which is offered in many restaurants in the country and beyond, including Germany. An example of this is the Rhodos restaurant in Berlin Grünau, which has been serving authentic Greek cuisine since it opened on June 30, 2001.

Portions are generous and the food is described as high quality.
Particularly noteworthy is the cozy, rustic atmosphere of the restaurant, which is suitable for both festive occasions and a relaxed dinner. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; it remains closed on Mondays.
