Parchim Hospital: 120 years in the service of the region - an anniversary full of history!

Parchim, Deutschland - The Parchim hospital organized an anniversary celebration on the occasion of its 120th anniversary. It is considered an important anchor for the region and has developed considerably since it was founded in 1905. At the celebration on July 11, 2025, the Secretary of State Sylvia Grimm held a moving greeting. She recalled that the clinic location once had to do without a waterworks and power connection and can now praise a modern, near-home and emergency supply at a high medical level. Government MV reports that 135 plan beds are currently distributed over six specialist departments, which also include gynecology, surgery and an intensive care unit.

The Asklepios Group took over the clinic in 1998 and has since invested over 56 million euros in the further development of the location. As a result, important improvements such as a new helipad, the technical renewal of the emergency room and digital documentation were realized. Grimm thanked the employees for their tireless efforts and continuous performance for the patients.
