Art from Ukraine: Exhibition shows the Bergisches Land again!
Leverkusen, Deutschland - An inspiring vernissage awaits visitors to the Leverkusen City Library. Under the title "Creative Journey through the Bergisches Land", 17 Ukrainian artists present their diverse impressions of the Bergisches Land. The exhibition is the result of a project of the Bergisch-Neukirchen art basket. V. from 2023, which was led by the artist Natalie Tumchenok. On June 4, 2025 at 4 p.m.
The participating artists, at the age of 7 to 49, show their unique perspective on the region, which was once part of the Grand Duchy of Berg. Her works reflect the traces of history, nature and culture and invite the viewers to discover the multi -layered landscape. The artists are:

vernissage and accompanying concert
The vernissage is enriched by a concert that Iryna Vysochan and Darina Vysotskaia designed live with guitar playing and singing. Entry to the opening is free of charge and a prior registration is not required. The exhibition itself can be viewed from June 4 to July 3, 2025 during the opening hours of the city library:
