Mannheim politician invites you to a nudist swinger holiday in the south of France!
Julien Ferrat, a controversial local politician from Mannheim, caused quite a stir with a recent article in the official gazette. The 33-year-old city councilor invites you to a nudist swingers holiday in Agde in the south of France, a city known for its nudist tourism. In addition to the invitation, the post also contains a provocative image of Ferrat posing naked on the nudist beach in Cap d'Agde. There is a sign above him that obscures his masculinity, which not only underlines his typical provocative style but also fuels his public debate about physicality and sexuality. Loud stern.de As part of this trip, Ferrat asks what the city of Mannheim can learn from Agde.
The accommodation in Agde, known as “Village Naturiste”, is considered one of the most visited naturist resorts in the world and is located about 60 kilometers southwest of Montpellier. In his contribution to the Official Journal, Ferrat emphasizes that there will be an “interesting political program”. These trips are not only intended to serve relaxation, but also to exchange ideas about local issues. The editorial board of the Official Journal makes it clear that responsibility for the content does not lie with the city council, which illustrates Ferrat's repeated provocative actions.
A provocateur on many levels
Ferrat, a member of the voters' association “Die Mannheimer”, is known for his unconventional forms of protest. Back in 2017, he demonstrated naked against the city's budget plans and covered his genitals with a sign that read "No to the budget." This type of protest is not new to him. In 2019, he published an extremely critical rap video against the then mayor, which earned him a fine of 3,000 euros. Ultimately, however, the sentence could be converted into community service hours.
In 2022, he had another nude photo published in the Official Gazette, further boosting his brand as a provocative politician. In this context, Ferrat gave an interview in which he chatted about the love lives of his colleagues. He described this nudity as a “homage to Bravo magazine’s Bodycheck series” and even asked the provocative question: “Is there a kind of communal sex in the town hall?”
Plans for the future and citizen participation
Despite his constant provocations, Ferrat remains an active part of Mannheim's political landscape. He plans to found a municipal housing cooperative to address the pressing issue of rent prices. Members of the cooperative are to be granted free entry to city parks and swimming pools for just 1,000 euros, which indicates a direct commitment to citizens.
The most recent local elections last year brought Ferrat 3,504 votes, showing that despite his controversies he has a significant voter base. His voters' association primarily campaigns against the waste of taxpayers' money and calls for more citizen participation. This suggests that Ferrat's provocative nature may also be used as a means to raise important issues and reach a wider audience.
