The Medieval Festival in Andorf, which will take place from May 23rd to 25th, 2025 in the folk festival grounds, promises to be an unforgettable event for all time travelers and history buffs. From jugglers and fire shows to music and magical performances, there will be a comprehensive program that will captivate both young and old.

The event begins on Friday, May 23rd at 4:00 p.m. and opens at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Visitors can experience a colorful hustle and bustle with fascinating performances such as dancing with the Fahima witches and diverse camp life. In addition, market traders will offer their goods and ensure physical well-being by presenting a large selection of food and drinks. Entry to this spectacle is free.

Gathering of Old Souls 2025

But that's not all: a month later, from June 25th to 27th, 2025, the “Gathering of Old Souls” will be held in Andorf. This event focuses on community and exchange and includes an equally exciting program. Visitors can look forward to a medieval and Viking camp and be thrilled by fiery performances by Daedalus.

The musical sounds of Dave Vjern's Terra Nera and the spectacular dances and magical moments with the Fahima witches round off the experience. Juggler Alex will provide humorous entertainment, while there will also be nature tours with the “guardian of nature”, Melanie Merkler. For families, there are children's activities such as pony rides, face painting and archery.

Culinary delights and practical details

The opening hours of the “Gathering of Old Souls” are also generous: Friday, June 25th, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26th, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 27th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In terms of cuisine, visitors are treated to medieval delicacies and local specialties. Admission here is also free and parking is offered free of charge.
