Messe Chemnitz, Deutschland - The MLP Academics Heidelberg and the Niners Chemnitz are in the playoffs of the EasyCredit Basketball Bundesliga at the beginning of their quarter -final series. After an exciting main round, in which the teams closed with a balance of 18 wins and 14 defeats, the first game on Saturday, May 17th, at 5 p.m. in the Chemnitz trade fair will be played. This is a historical moment for the MLP Academics, which for the first time since it was ascended in 2021 into the BBL playoffs. After four years of effort and development, the anticipation of this series is great. The Niners Chemnitz end the main round as fourth in the table and thus have the home advantage in the best-of-five series. The possible other games, 4 and 5, are scheduled for the 27.05.2025 and May 29, 2025. Ticket sales are already going very well: 4,000 tickets were sold for game 1, and 3,500 for game 2.
