A 48-year-old Turkish passenger was arrested on May 16 at immigration control from Ankara. The reason for the arrest was an executive arrest warrant from the Karlsruhe public prosecutor's office for tax evasion. The fine that the man had to pay was almost 3,000 euros, which he did not pay. Further arrests at Stuttgart Airport

On May 17, a 51-year-old Turkish passenger was arrested during exit control to Istanbul. He had an arrest warrant from the Offenburg public prosecutor's office for violating the Chemicals Act. After a family member paid a fine of 1,800 euros, the man was finally able to take his flight.

Another case occurred on May 18, when a 61-year-old Turkish national was arrested during exit control to Izmir. Four arrest warrants from the Rottweil and Konstanz public prosecutors were waiting for him because of unpaid fines. In this case too, the passenger was able to take his flight after paying the total amount of just under 520 euros.
