Southern Wine Route shows barrier-free offers at REHAB 2025!

The Southern Wine Route will be represented at the important REHAB trade fair in Karlsruhe from May 22nd to 24th, 2025. The event has already attracted great interest in the past and offers a platform for topics such as rehabilitation, therapy, care and inclusion. The trade fair takes place in the barrier-free halls of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair, which are accessible to all visitors. This is particularly important because the main target group is people with disabilities and their relatives, who can receive a lot of information about the latest aids and therapeutic approaches here. Visitors have the opportunity to find out about current developments in rehabilitation, orthopedic and medical technology and to discover innovative products.

A central element of the Southern Wine Route's presence will be the presentation of a new flyer, which brings together a lot of valuable information under the title “Southern Wine Route Barrier-Free”. The flyer provides an overview of certified, barrier-free accommodations, leisure activities, restaurants, wine shops and cultural experiences in the region. All offers presented have been checked according to the nationwide “Travel for All” labeling system, which ensures high quality and reliability of the information. The flyer also contains information about hearing-friendly offers and information in simple language.

Joint stand and collaborations

The Southern Wine Route will be part of the joint stand of the Leichter Reisen Association, which is being organized together with the 16 German federal states. The working group is a network of cities and tourist regions that has set itself the task of promoting barrier-free travel destinations and continuously developing the offerings. At the joint stand, visitors will receive comprehensive information about barrier-free travel destinations throughout Germany.

Trade visitors to REHAB also have the opportunity for personal and professional training as well as exchanges with exhibitors. The atmosphere of the trade fair is familiar and is characterized by competent advice. There are also free tickets for the Southern Wine Route, which can be obtained through a direct contact person - those interested can send an email to info@suedlicheweinstrasse.de.

In summary, it can be said that the Southern Wine Route's participation in REHAB 2025 in Karlsruhe not only presents the region, but also makes an important contribution to raising awareness of barrier-free travel. The combination of information, exchange and new offers will be enriching for both visitors and exhibitors.
