In the Nuremberg area, travelers will face significant restrictions on train traffic in the coming weeks. From Monday, June 2nd, 2025, to Sunday, June 15th, 2025, the important railway line between Nuremberg and Würzburg/Markt Erlbach will be completely closed due to construction work. Additional restrictions and construction work

The coming closure is not the only one: there have also been restrictions on the railway line between Nuremberg and Bamberg since mid-March 2025. This construction work will last until July 9, 2025 and will involve a changed timetable and replacement rail services.
