Eintracht Frankfurt: 15 players are excited for their national teams!

Eintracht Frankfurt sees an impressive array of players called up for their national teams in the current release period. A total of 15 players from the club will travel to their respective national teams during this time. In addition to the Bundesliga regulations, participation in international competition is important for the players.

Among the nominated players is Robin Koch, who will take part in the Final Four of the UEFA Nations League with the DFB team. Other Eintracht players who have been called up for their senior national teams are Aurèle Amenda for Switzerland, Rasmus Kristensen for Denmark, Arthur Theate for Belgium, Can Uzun for Turkey, Hugo Larsson for Sweden, Igor Matanovic for Croatia, Farès Chaibi for Algeria and Ellyes Skhiri for Tunisia. This shows the high level and depth of the Eintracht squad.

U21 and youth national teams

Additionally, Nathaniel Brown, Nnamdi Collins, Ansgar Knauff, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya, Hugo Ekitiké and Oscar Højlund are in their countries' provisional squads for the U21 European Championships. The German U21 players already have friendly matches against Denmark and France on their schedule. The first meeting will take place on Friday November 15th, followed by another on November 19th.

The club team can be proud of these nominations as they reflect the important role of Eintracht players at international level. For example, Igor Matanovic will compete with Croatia in the UEFA Nations League, while Farès Chaibi will also be on the pitch for Algeria in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Play in international competition

There are a number of important games coming up for the players. Matchday 5 of the UEFA Nations League is scheduled for November 14th, with Robin Koch playing against Hungary at the Europa-Park Stadium in Freiburg and Arthur Theate, whose Belgian national team takes on Israel at the Bozsik Arena in Budapest. Aurèle Amenda will also play for Switzerland against Spain at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich.

Eintracht's African players, including Omar Marmoush and Farès Chaibi, are now preparing for the crucial games to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations. Marmoush will play against Botswana at the Cairo International Stadium on November 15, while Chaibi will take on Liberia with Algeria.

During this secondment period, Eintracht is not only in a strong position nationally but also internationally. The players look forward to the challenges that lie ahead and wear the colors of their club and nation proudly.
