About Siargao Lighthouse
As far as I know, Siargao Lighthouse is the only lighthouse on the island. We discovered it while exploring the island by bike and stopping by Pacifico Beach.
Apparently this lighthouse has a few names including Siargao Lighthouse, Pacifico Lighthouse and Tigasao Lighthouse.
This stunning white lighthouse has a spiral staircase leading up that you can climb. The view from the top is breathtaking and offers fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean.
The structure is quite run down and I would imagine it has been abandoned for quite some time.

Where is the abandoned lighthouse in Siargao?
You can find the Siargao Lighthouse at the far northern end of Pacifico Beach. This beach is quite far from General Luna and takes about 50 minutes to get here by motorbike.
As you drive to the north end of the beach, you'll see the Pacifico Lighthouse just around the bend, towering over green bushes near the headland.
How do I get here?
For the independent explorers, rent a bike in General Luna for between 250 and 350 pesos per day. This is how I explored much of Siargao during my visits.
To get to Siargao Lighthouse, you should take the island's Circumferential Road to the mainland, round the bend past the Magpupungko Rock Pools and then turn right when you arrive in San Isidro (there are signs showing the way). Pacifico). This drive is very scenic, passing rice fields, coconut plantations and picturesque villages.

If you don't want to rent a motorbike or scooter to explore the island, then one of your best bets is a Siargao Land Tour. This is one of the most booked and top rated tours on the island and includes:
- Kokosstraße
- Gebogene Palmenschaukel
- Magpupungko-Felsbecken

What to Expect at the Abandoned Lighthouse on Siargao
Once you arrive at the abandoned Siargao Lighthouse, you'll want to climb to the top! There is a great view from the top of the stairs, but I decided to climb to the top of the pole.

The steel rail is very rusted in places so I wouldn't trust it to keep me from falling out!
The view is quite breathtaking. We visited on a day with pumping surf and watched it roll in for a good half hour before heading down!
I also had some time to fly my drone here to capture some unique perspectives of the Siargao Lighthouse on Pacifico Beach.
